Fernando Garcia, 46 of Brownsville, TX, devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest Wednesday November 19, 2025, at his residence Brownsville, TX surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, TX on October 4, 1979.
He is preceded in death by his mother Yolanda Garcia.
Left to cherish his memory are his dad Guadalupe Garcia, his siblings Guadalupe Garcia Jr (Griselda Maldonado), Myra Franco (Ramon Franco Jr), Jessica Garcia (Adrian Briones) nephews/nieces Guadalupe Garcia III, Erika M. Franco, Viviana L. Garcia, Vanessa L. Franco, Maribel Franco, Ramon Franco III, Samantha Garcia, Anahi N. Luna, Jacob Briones, Melanie J. Briones.
At the heart of it all, he was a man whose laughter could fill a room and whose joy was impossible to forget. At 46, he lived with a spirit that lifted others—lighthearted, warm, and full of life. He loved gatherings, good music, and any moment that brought people together to smile. He was the kind of person who could turn an ordinary day into something memorable—always ready with a joke, a smile, or a warm embrace. His playful energy and natural charm made every day brighter, leaving behind memories filled with color, laughter, and love.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday November 25, 2025, from 1:00-8:00PM with a Rosary service at 6:00PM. A mass will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2025 at 11:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Guillen Cemetery.
