Daniel, who left us on November 17, 2025, at the age of 50, was born in Houston and raised in Brownsville, and later moved back to Houston, where he proved he could build just about anything—homes, businesses, and even a few questionable weekend projects that somehow always turned out amazing. A natural craftsman with a rock-solid work ethic, he was creative to his core and happiest with tools in his hands and a vision in his mind.
He brought that same creativity into the kitchen, where he loved cooking up meals for holidays and special occasions.
What made him unforgettable was his humor. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into laughing fits, and he delighted in making people smile. If there was a chance to crack a joke, lighten the mood, or stir up some fun, he took it.
Fashion was another one of his talents—he dressed so sharp he could’ve cut drywall with his outfits. He loved shopping and took great pride in looking his best, whether he was heading to a celebration or just a quick trip to the store.
Most of all, he was incredibly proud of his son and loved his son’s family with all his heart.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and love—a reminder that life is better when you build boldly, dress sharply, cook generously, and never miss a chance to make someone laugh.

Daniel, your uncle and i feel blessed to have spent time with you while you were in the hospital and at your moms home. Remembering the past was fun and seeing you laugh gave me such joy and sadness at the same time. We knew you were hurting but you told us you were okay. “It is what it is, you said.” I will always remember your big smile. Thank you for those precious moments.
May God give the family strength and peace in their hearts during this difficult time 🙏🏻♥️😇
