With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of our beloved Adan Guerrero Jr., who departed peacefully on October 29, 2025, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas, at the age of 46.
Born on September 13, 1979, in Brownsville, Adan lived a humble and faith-filled life surrounded by those who loved him. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, yet his legacy continues through his extended family, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Adan will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith in God. His presence brought warmth and comfort to many, and his absence will be deeply felt.
We take comfort in the promise of God’s Word:
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death, or mourning, or crying, or pain,
for the old order of things has passed away…
‘Behold, I am coming soon.’” — Revelation 22
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 with a chapel service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, with a Celebration of Life service commencing at 12:00 p.m.at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at 1:00 p.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
