Bertha Castro Villalobos, 90, born on August 6, 1935 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on November 1, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Villalobos; parents Brigido Castro and Rita Ovalle; children, Heriberto, Hector, Martin, and Andres Villalobos.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maria Esther (Medardo) Ayala, Rita Isabel (Albert Jr) Cerda, Jose Luis (Gina) Villalobos, Martha Laura (Brian) Hunt, Adrian (Felicitas Duran) Villalobos, and daughter-in-law Diana Villalobos; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family is eternally grateful to Ninfa Hippensteal with Devoted Healthcare and Hospice Services for her kindness, compassion, and exceptional care during our mom’s final journey. Also deeply grateful for chaplain, Victoria Low for her compassionate guidance and spiritual support.
Pallbearers will be Albert Cerda Jr, Austin Villalobos, Medardo Ayala Jr, Matthew Cerda, Darian Villalobos, Michael Cerda

Visitation hours are scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7th , 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will commence at 6:00 p.m.
The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8th , 2025. A funeral mass will be held at
10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and interment is scheduled to follow to Buena Vista
Burial Park at 11:00 a.m.
