Maria Del Rosario Garcia, 61, of Brownsville, Texas, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 in Brownsville, Texas. Maria Del Rosario was born on February 4, 1964 in Brownsville, Texas to Antonio and Bertha Perez.
Maria will always be remembered for her strong energetic personality and her love for having lotteria family gathering. She dedicated her life to her family, always providing a listening ear and warm embrace.
She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Bertha Perez; and her brothers Joe and Gilberto Perez.
She is survived by her children Rachel Sandoval, Edna Hernandez, Myda Gonzales and Lilliana Garcia; her grandchildren Ivan, Thomas, Arianna, Alfredo, Alek, Miranda, Jayden and Joliet; her siblings, Blanca, Antonio, Gloria, Armando, Francis, Martin, and Perfecto.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025 with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.

Ms. Garcia you truly are and will always be a woman I admire. I pray a special blessing over you and your generations that come from you. You sowed good seed into so many lives.
