Beatriz I. Castillo, 31, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted daughter, sister and friend, entered eternal rest Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 12, 1993 in Brownsville, Texas.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents Francisco Castillo and Virginia Morales; her brothers Ricardo Castillo and Miguel Castillo; and her niece Angelica Ibarra.
Today we say goodbye to a young woman who was bright, cheerful and full of life. She always helped her family and friends. A human being who cared about always taking care of the animals. And who cared about her neighbors and the people around her. Illuminating with her unique light and spirit she filled every space where she passed and filled with laughter and harmony no matter the circumstances. Passionate about soccer and basketball, she lived every moment as if it were her last, shouting and singing every moment. Today, you are no longer physically present, but your adventurous spirit lives on in each one of us, in every soul and heart you touched. For now, fly high, from wherever you are keep jumping, dancing, singing, running, and doing what you love the most and we from here will continue celebrating your life and remembering you, a kiss and a hug, we love you, fly high Betty and see you soon. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 with recitation of the Holy Rosary at Sunset Memorial Funeral home. The chapel opens at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. to Guillen Community Cemetery
