Sarah Anne Baker

Sarah Anne Baker

Sarah Anne Baker, 49 years old, of Brownsville, Texas, daughter, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on May 26, 2025, at the home of her mother and step father.  She was born in Valentine, Nebraska on January 12, 1976.

Sarah loved to give!  She would give her own things away if she knew of someone in need.  She was very generous.  She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was a prayer warrior.  She gave out gospel comic books to everyone and mailed them to friends and family.  Her ministry was to write letters and notes of encouragement to everyone she knew.

She did not like crowds, but she would single out one person in a store or on the street to give them a tract with a dollar or two, if she had it.  Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6.  God truly led her life and she lived out her faith.

Left to cherish her memory are her church friends from Jesus Reigns Church, 1155 US-281 Military Highway, Brownsville, Texas.  She is also remembered by many friends and people that she knew.

She is survived by her father David Paul Baker Sr. and her stepmother Sandy Baker and her mother Patricia Baker Levsen and her stepfather Edward Dale Levsen; and her siblings, Lori Ann Hasse (Adopted after birth) and her husband Bruce, David Paul Baker, Jr. and his wife Rita, John Adam Baker, Mark Philip Baker and his wife Tara Baker, and Sharon Rose Olabi and her husband Omar.

A fellowship will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 1600 Boca Chica Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas, at 6:00 p.m. a memorial service will be held in the auditorium.

Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485
