Con profundo dolor y amor en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Ramón García Dragustinovis, amado esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo, quien partió de esta vida en paz a la edad de 83 años.
Ramón nació el 1 de febrero de 1942 en Soto La Marina, Tamaulipas, hijo de Ramón García Sr. y María del Jesús Dragustinovis. A los 12 años se trasladó a Matamoros, Tamaulipas, donde continuó sus estudios con esmero y dedicación. Obtuvo su título de contador privado en la Escuela Superior de Comercio, graduándose como el mejor de su clase.
En agosto de 1963, Ramón unió su vida en matrimonio a la de su gran amor, Idalia, con quien compartió más de seis décadas y formó una hermosa familia. Juntos construyeron desde cero, con mucho esfuerzo y perseverancia, un negocio exitoso.
Fue un apasionado de los caballos y orgulloso representante de la charreria mexicana. Participó activamente en Team Penning y Sorting, y con gran orgullo portó la bandera de los Estados Unidos en múltiples desfiles de Charro Days. Su pasatiempo favorito era montar así como entrenar sus caballos a bailar.
Ramón deja tras de sí un legado de amor, integridad y dedicación. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Idalia García, sus hijos y cónyuges: Julio César (María Elena), Eddie, Fernando e Iliana, así como sus nietos y su querida bisnieta.
Un hombre de visión, corazón y espíritu incansable, Ramón García Dragustinovis será profundamente extrañado y eternamente recordado por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
La velación se llevará a cabo de 1:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. el martes 6 de mayo de 2025, con un servicio de oración a las 6:00 p.m. en Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. El miércoles, 7 de mayo de 2025 será sepultado en Bulverde, TX.

It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Ramón García Dragustinovis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 83.
Ramón was born on February 1, 1942, in Soto La Marina, Tamaulipas, to Ramón García Sr. and María del Jesús Dragustinovis. At the age of 12, he moved to Matamoros, Tamaulipas, where he pursued his education with remarkable discipline and brilliance. He earned his accounting degree from the Escuela Superior de Comercio, graduating at the top of his class—a testament to his exceptional intellect and dedication.
In August of 1963, Ramón married the love of his life, Idalia, with whom he shared more than sixty years and raised a beautiful family. Together they built a thriving business from the ground up. His entrepreneurial spirit, wisdom, and determination led to continued success in all his ventures.
He had a deep love for horses and actively participated in Charreria, Team Penning, and Sorting. He proudly carried the U.S. flag in multiple Charro Days parades alongside his grandchildren, and his favorite pastime was horseback riding and training his horses to dance—a symbol of his passion, resilience, and joy for life.
Ramón is survived by his beloved wife, Idalia García, his children and their spouses: Julio César (Maria Elena), Eddie, Fernando, and Iliana, along with his grandchildren and his cherished great-grandchild. His family was his pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and honor.
A man of vision, heart, and enduring spirit, Ramón García Dragustinovis will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May, 6, 2025, with a prayer services at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Bulverde, TX.
