Juan Manuel Salinas Alvarado, 74, of Los Fresnos, TX,went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 13, 1949 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, MX.
In addition to being a dedicated husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Salinas was a selfless gentleman with a wonderful heart. His willingness to help others and his reputation for selflessness were well-known. His most treasured activity was, without a doubt, spending time with his family, his horses, and his friend
In addition to being a dedicated husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Salinas was a selfless gentleman with a wonderful heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Salinas and Amelia Alvarado; his wife, and mother of his three beautiful daughters, Celia Salinas; as well as three of his siblings, Martin Alvarado, Valentin Salinas, and Natividad Salinas.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ma Elena Salinas; three daughters, Minerva (Manuel) Zavala, Viviana (Jorge) Cedillo, and Griselda (Juan) Muñiz; his siblings, Manuela Moreno, Erasmo Salinas, Ludivina de la Cruz, Guadalupe Guevara, Veronica Salinas, Jose Alvarado, Rodolfo Alvarado, and Maria Isabel Alvarado; his grandchildren, Melissa, Manuel, Arianna, Samantha, Celia Camila, Andrea, Briana, Adriel, and Alessandra.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024. Chapel funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Christian burial will follow at at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
