Juanita Piña Rodriguez, 82, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2024, at Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, TX, on July 13, 1941.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pedro Eugenio Rodriguez, Rosalinda Pecina, Bruno Rodriguez, Jose Angel Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez, Juanita Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez, Margarita Salinas, Alejandro Rodriguez, Abel Rodriguez, Eugenio Rodriguez, Veronica Gonzalez, and Rosalinda Mascorro, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024, with a celebration of life service scheduled at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. On Monday, January 22, 2024, Chapel will open at 8:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Interment to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Guillen Community Cemetery.
