Tomasa Saldaña, 88, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. She was born in Brownsville, TX on December 5, 1935.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul Saldaña, her parents Trinidad and Federico De La Garza; her daughter Delma Saldaña and her brother Federico De La Garza.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children, three sisters, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. On Monday, January 8, 2024, a Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park at 1:00 p.m.
