We used to have great conversations on Bleachernation talking about our beloved Cubs. “Cubs are gonna surprise” RIP Tex
I never met you in person. I knew you as Tex on a baseball website that focused on the Cubs, Bleacher Nation (BN). I know you dearly love your wife. I know you love your family and friends. I know you loved your students. You loved Bud light. 🙂 While I never knew you, I respected you and admired you. You always showed through your posts on BN that being a good person was always what was most important for you. You were kind to everyone on BN. You taught me and all of us to love the moments we shared even as our team, the Cubs, were losing or not performing as we hoped. I knew all of these things about you because you set an example by your actions in the words you wrote on BN. I think the goal of every human being should be to leave the world a little better than they found it. You did your part. Thanks for reminding me to be kind and be present in my life. If I am ever the first person posting a comment on an article, I will simply write, Primero! RIP, my friend~
