“Andy”

Andres L. Cancino entered into eternal rest with the lord on January 3, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. 

He was born in Brownsville Texas to Alfredo Diaz Cancino and Lydia Lopez Cancino on January 11, 1967. His hobbies included woodwork, fishing, visiting antique shops as well as visiting every pawnshop in town. Andy loved spending time listening to Tejano music, his favorite being Jimmy Gonzales and Intocable. 

No matter where Andy went, he was always bound to run into someone he knew and would love to stop and converse with them. He touched everyone’s life in one way or another. 

He is proceeded into death by his father, Alfredo D. Cancino; two brothers, Alfredo D Cancino III, Alejandro Cancino. 

Andres is survived by his mother Lydia L. Cancino; Grandmother, Lydia Lopez; four children, Jordan Juarez, Danielle M. Cancino (Rolando), Amanda N. Cancino, Andres A. Cancino; two brothers, Adrian Cancino, Alfredo M. Cancino (Bertha); Grandchildren, Camilia, Rolando Jr, Natalia, Nikolai, Malakai, Phoenix. Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

We kindly ask that all of Andy’s loved ones wear rock band t-shirts in honor of him.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. and a Celebration of his life at 7:00 p.m.
