Felicitos Cantu, 81, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 56 years Maria Luisa Cantu as well as his children: Marianela (Peter) Bennett, Norma Sylvia (Robert) Shearin, Felicitos (Zaidi) Cantu Jr., Cesario Manuel Cantu, Mary Lou (Guadalupe) Izaguirre, and Esmeralda (Marlo) Cantu. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He lived most of his life in Brownsville, TX.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. There will be a funeral mass on Thursday, September 29, 2016 to be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
