Juan Aguilar Jr.

Juan Aguilar Jr.

On Monday, July 6, 2026 Juan Aguilar, Jr. went to join our Lord in Heaven. He was born on October 18, 1954 in Brownsville, TX. He was born to Juan Aguilar Sr. and Maria Gonzalez Aguilar. He started working since he was a teenager. He worked in many places, but he was most happy working as a welder and as a truck driver. His other love was animals. Juan grew up loving all kinds of animals especially dogs, horses and pigs. He especially loved his Chihuahua Tiny, his Horse Lupe, and his Shih Tzu Luna. He also would breed pigs, get them huge, and during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years would take orders and sell pigs. He packaged the meat and people would line up to buy so they could make tamales. He lived a happy and long life.

Juan was a very giving person. He would help people whether he knew them or not. After he got sick, his favorite pastimes were going out to eat (pork, shrimp, cabrito), playing slots and Loteria. His favorite restaurants were Sylvia’s (which he called Cowboys) and Oyster Bar. Juan had a huge heart.

He loved everyone at Cowboys (employees and other customers) and he was loved by all of them as well. In addition, we spent every Saturday playing Loteria. He even bought himself a bingo bag with the Estrella in front. He will be loved and missed by everyone forever.

He was preceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vicente &; Manuela Aguilar, his maternal grandparents, Encarnacion & Gregoria Gonzalez, his parents, Juan & Maria Aguilar, his brother, Antonio Aguilar, Sr. and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Delia Frausto-Aguilar, his son Juan Carlos (Velma) Aguilar, his daughters Delia Aguilar-Elizarde, Melissa Romero (Juan), Michelle Aguilar- Garibay (Emanuel), the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Ashley (Robert), Amanda, Fernando, Juanito, Alex, Deymeon Alexis, Jay, Vicky, Vanessa his great-grandsons Erick & Robert (Beto), his great-granddaughters Mia, Bella, Itzel, his sister Manuela Bazan, his only living aunt, Francisca Medina and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved with all his heart.

As per his wishes, there will be no services.
