Elvira F. Piña, entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, whose life graced all those who knew her.
Elvira F. Pina, or “Bitty” as some knew her, was born on October 9, 1937. She was a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas.
This most caring and loving mother dedicated her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years. She is survived by her three children, Monica Piña, Laura P. Dominguez, and Steve (Hilda) Piña, four grandchildren; three great-granddaughters, two siblings, along with numerous nephews, nieces and loved ones.
Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening. In accordance with Elvira’s wishes, she will be cremated. Private internment of her remains will be held at a later date.
