Evangelina Benavides, 51, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas, on September 21, 1973.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents Jorge Benavidez and Vicky Benavidez; her two children Evangelina Meriel Valez and Josue Daniel Valez; her sister and brother, Ida Benavidez Flores (Ramiro Flores) and Pablo Benavides (Gloria Benavides); her nieces and nephews, Alexandra Benavides, Jorge Benavides, Hunter Benavides, and Aya Flores.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
