In Loving Memory of Uvaldo Gonzalez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Uvaldo Gonzalez, who entered into the presence of the Lord on July 13, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on August 9, 1945, he lived a life rooted in faith, humility, kindness, and unconditional love. A godly man through and through, he led by example, showing compassion, integrity, and grace to everyone blessed enough to know him.

His greatest joy in life was his family. He was the proud father of fourteen children, whom he loved deeply and wholeheartedly. His legacy continues through his countless grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He had a unique nickname for every grandchild, making each one feel seen, cherished, and deeply loved. Those simple gestures became treasured memories that will live on forever.

He was a man who never sought recognition, yet he was admired by so many. His gentle spirit, warm smile, wise words, and unwavering faith touched countless lives. Whether offering encouragement, sharing stories, or simply spending time with those he loved, he made everyone feel welcome and valued.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing he has been welcomed into his eternal home with his Savior. His love, faith, and example will continue to guide his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, and love that will never be forgotten. He was deeply adored, profoundly respected, and will be missed more than words can express.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Los Laureles Community Cemetery.
