Idalia Carrizales, de 58 años, residente de Brownsville, TX falleció el 14 de diciembre del 2025.
Idalia nació en el municipio de Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico el 6 de diciembre del 1967.
Le sobreviven su esposo, Servando Uriegas Del Valle, sus hijos, Alma, Alfredo, Iris, Nancy y Daniela, y sus cinco nietos. Idalia se une a sus padres, Rafael y Manuela Carrizales, y a su hermano, Cristobal Carrizales Perrett.
Idalia dedicó su vida a cuidar de los demás como profesional de la salud y como conserje en la universidad UTRGV. Disfrutaba cuidando de su familia, preparando tamales para sus amigos, familiares y la comunidad, y cultivando su jardín. Idalia era miembro en la iglesia San Eugenio de Mazenod y siempre fue dispuesta a ayudar a cualquier persona en todo lo que le fuera posible.
Idalia Carrizales será recordada por su generosidad, su amor y cariño incondicional, y su sonrisa que iluminaba a todos. Que en paz descanse.
El velorio se llevará a cabo entre la 1:00 p.m. del día lunes, 22 de diciembre 2025, a 1:00 p.m. del martes, 23 diciembre 2025 con recitación del Santo Rosario a las 6:00 p.m. el lunes, 22 de diciembre de 2025 en la Funeraria Sunset Memorial. Se celebrará una misa de resurrección a las 2:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica San Eugenio de Mazenod. El sepelio se llevará a cabo a las3:00 p.m. en el Buena Vista Burial Park

Idalia Carrizales, 58, a resident of Brownsville, TX, passed away on December 14, 2025.
Idalia was born in the municipality of Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on December 6, 1967. She is survived by her husband, Servando Uriegas Del Valle, her children, Alma, Alfredo, Iris, Nancy, and Daniela, and her five grandchildren. Idalia is reunited with her parents, Rafael and Manuela Carrizales, and her brother, Cristobal Carrizales Perrett.
Idalia dedicated her life to caring for others as a home-healthcare professional and as a custodian at UTRGV. She enjoyed taking care of her family, making tamales for her friends, family, and the community, and tending to her garden. Idalia was a member of St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church and was always willing to help anyone in any way she could.
Idalia Carrizales will be remembered for her generosity, her unconditional love and affection, and her smile that brightened everyone’s day. May she rest in peace.

Visitation hours are scheduled from 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22nd, 2025, through 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will commence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church, and interment is scheduled to follow to Buena Vista Burial Park at 3:00 p.m.
