Ninfa Sauceda, born on May 22nd, 1956, in Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, in her hometown of Brownsville. She was 69 years old.
Ninfa was a lifelong resident of Brownsville, where she built a life rooted in family and community. Her presence touched the lives of many who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on through those she held dear.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Felix Sauceda, and her daughters, Tiffany Cuellar and Diana Sauceda. Ninfa also shared close bonds with her nieces and nephews—Kimberly Gomez, Cheryl Martinez, Jackie Gomez, Ricardo Gomez—and Carlo Alaniz, along with many more extended family members who were part of her cherished circle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Rosario Alaniz; her sisters Hermelinda Hernandez, Maria del Rosario Gomez, and Virginia Silva; and her brother Jose Alaniz.
Ninfa’s life was marked by enduring love for her family and a deep connection to those around her. Her legacy will be carried forward in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, with a celebration of life at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19th, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at 3:00 p.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Garden.
