Juan Izaguirre Mendoza, of Brownsville, Tx, father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered into eternal rest April 27, 2025, at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Matamoros, Tamps on May 27, 1949.
He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria M. Izaguirre and parents Jesus and Eloisa Izaguirre.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Juan J. Izaguirre (Ana), Talina Jimenez (Robert) and Shahira Garcia (Juan) and his seven grandchildren Vivian, Sophia, Adrian, Roberto Jesse, Nathaniel, Maddison and Alan.
He will be greatly missed.
A caring father and grandfather. He was always someone we could count on to capture the special moments in our family events. He loved baseball, BBQ’s and keeping in touch with his brothers, cousins and childhood friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday May 2, 2025, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, and a chapel service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
