Gerardo Rios, 27, of Brownville, Texas, devoted husband, brother, son, and friend, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 14, 2025, at his residence Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, TX on April 21, 1997.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Jose Angel Garcia and his uncle Jorge Armando Garcia.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Ricardo Rios Sr., and Juana Maria Rios; his spouse, Susana Rodriguez; and his siblings, Ricardo Rios Jr., Aylin Rios, Gabriel Rios, Georgette Castillo, and Roberto Treviño.
He was loving and happy, fun and outgoing. He loved to joke around and would always make everyone laugh. He loved the gym, his dogs, his car and he loved everyone—especially his mother and father. More than anything, he wanted to make them proud and build a beautiful life with his beloved rotties. He was incredibly strong, not just physically but mentally as well. Behind his bright smile and sharp mind, though, he quietly battled with self-love. He always dreamed of the day he would be reunited with his uncle Jorge. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he even named his dog “Dallas” in their honor.
