Benito Hinojosa

Benito Hinojosa, 73, of Brownville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 05, 2025, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mexico on March 21, 1952.

He is preceded in death by his parents Vicenta Valdez de la Fuente† and Jesus Hinojosa Salazar†.

Left to cherish his memory is his life loving wife Minerva Lopez de Hinojosa; his children Nancy Salmon (Homero) and Ricardo Hinojosa (Karen); his grandchildren Isaac Salmon, Kaleb Salmon, Abram Salmon, and Mia Hinojosa; and 10 sisters and 3 brothers.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.  at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 and a chapel service will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at 1:00 p.m. to Buena Vista Burial park.
