Romulo Cisneros Rosenbaum Jr., 78, of Olmito, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mexico on August 20, 1946.
His unwavering strength and resilience have been a true inspiration and his selfless efforts to provide for our family have been truly remarkable of what a wonderful father could provide for his family. As a role model he has consistently demonstrated the significance of upholding values and morals in everyday life which exemplified what his upbringing was absolutely about and truly set the example of how to uphold and raise your family. El hombre que más nos amó. Como te vamos a extrañar, nuestro querido padre.
He is preceded in death by his parents Romulo Cisneros Sr., and Preciliana Rosenbaum; and his sisters, Angela Ibarra, Maria Garcia, Ninfa Hernandez, Rita Castillo, and his brother Eligio Cisneros.
Left to cherish his memory is his life loving wife Petra L. Cisneros; his children Romulo Cisneros III (Elsa M. Cisneros), Juan Francisco Cisneros, Angelica Zavala (Hugo Zavala) and Miguel Cisneros (Amy Cisneros); and his brother Hector Cisneros and sister Maria Luisa Ochoa; and his grandchildren, Hugo Zavala Jr., Jacqueline Zavala, Destiny Alvarez, Sasha Cisneros, Natasha Cisneros, Jacob Cisneros, Briana Cisneros, Juan Cisneros Jr., Dominic Cisneros, Ellie Cisneros, Miguel Cisneros Jr., and Noah Alexander Cisneros; and his great-grandchild Emiliano Lugo.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Our Heavenly Father Catholic Church in Olmito, Texas. Interment is to follow at 11:00 a.m. to Buena Vista Burial Park.
