Thomas James Gegogeine, 74, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 20, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1950.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Elizabeth Shaw and Clyde William Gegogeine.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Graciela Gegogeine; his children Jeff, Janet, Jennifer, Jeremy, Jessica, Zeilha, and Jesus; several grandchildren; his siblings Sheila Dewey and Cynthia Saber; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment is to follow at 11:00 a.m. to Guillen Community Cemetery. Military Honors are to be held at gravesite.
