Maria Agustina Sanchez de Alvarez, 78, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 06, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico on November 01, 1945.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fernando Alvarez and her daughter Norma Alvarez.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Luis Fernando Alvarez and her daughter Delia Alvarez; and her grandchildren Astrid Sifuentes, Oscar Hernandez, Norma Hernandez, Sergio Balboa, Norma Balboa, Angelica Ramirez and Liliana Ramirez.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
