Angelita Fowler, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication. She was born with a spirit that embraced life fully, and she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Angelita worked for several years in the school district, where she was admired for her dedication and care for the students and staff. Her strong work ethic and determination later led her to become the proud owner of C.D. Fowler Trucking Company, where she made her mark as a successful businesswoman.
Angelita shared a wonderful life with her countless adventures, exploring new places and making lasting memories. Her love for traveling was matched only by her joy in spending time with her family, who were always at the center of her heart.
She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. Whether she was fishing, tending to her plants, or watching the birds, Angelita found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
Later in life, Angelita became a dedicated Jehova’s Witness, finding strength and comfort in her faith. Her devotion was an inspiration to those around her, and her faith guided her through her later years with grace and serenity.
Angelita Fowler leaves behind a family that adored her and countless friends who cherished her presence. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her unwavering strength, and the love she shared with everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her father Manuel Lopez and her mother Maria del Rosario Hinojosa; her husband CD Fowler; her son Manuel Pizana, Jr.; her granddaughter Veronica Vasquez; her sisters Lupita Loya, Maria Luisa Dennis, Gregoria Luna.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Maria A. Vasquez; her grandchildren Cynthia Vasquez, Rosemarie Moreno Vasquez, Cassandra Vasquez, Miatha Pizana, Elizabeth Pizana, and Carlos Santa Pizana; her 11 great grandchildren; her 5 great-great grandchildren, and her sister Alicia Tabarez; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 and a Talk will be held in her honor at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Those who knew Angelita are invited to join her family as they celebrate Angelita’s life and the many wonderful memories she leaves behind. Angelita’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
