Stacy Gisel Zavala, 24, of Los Fresnos, TX devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend, entered eternal rest Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Brownsville, TX, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, TX on August 28, 1999.
Stacy was a charismatic person that would bring out a smile as soon as you would see her. She was a very energetic and loving person that will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Patricio Zavala.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Miriam Zavala, her 3 brothers Eric Alberto Maya, Jacob Landeros and Jorge Sanchez Jr.; and 1 sister Destiny Alvarez; her grandmother Maria de Jesus Obregon; her 2 aunts Angelica Zavala and Laura De La Rosa; her 2 uncles Hugo Zavala Sr. and Victor De La Rosa, her 3 cousins Hugo Zavala Jr., Jacqueline Zavala, and Eliana De La Rosa.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Heavenly Father Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
