Juan Emilio Salazar, 75, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, Grand & Great-Grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, entered into eternal rest on May 13th,2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Salazar was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband who devoted his life to his wife of over 50 years of marriage. He set a good example for his family by working hard and always putting others first. Everyone who knew him will forever cherish and miss him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria de Jesus Gonzalez, and Pablo Salazar.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Rosa Salazar; three children, Rosa (Victor Rangel) Salazar, Juan Emilio Salazar Jr., and Pablo (Cynthia) Salazar; six grandchildren, Edith Ramirez, Elaine Salazar, Aylene Salazar, Damian Salazar, Victor Rangel, and Tadeo Rangel; three great-grandchildren, Camyla Nava, Luna Corona, and Adrian Corona.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic located at 2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, TX 78520. Christian burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
