Eleuterio Alvarado Peña, 78, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, and father, entered into eternal rest on May 6th,2023 at Sunshine Haven. He was born in Brownsville, TX on September 12th, 1944.
He is preceded in death by his father Federico Peña; his mother Antonia Peña; his sisters Ruth Peña and Olga Ramirez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Felicita Peña, his children Damaris Rodgers, Eric Eleuterio Peña, Gretel Melissa Salazar, and Aaron Amos Peña.
Visitation will be held from 1PM to 8PM on Saturday, May 13th, 2023, with a chapel service from 6PM to 8PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues at 9:30 AM to 11:30AM on Monday, May 15th, 2023, with a chapel service at 10AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Followed by a departure at 11:30AM to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery located at 2520 S. Inspiration Rd., Mission, Texas 78572.
If able, please wear dad’s favorite color: Blue. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in dad’s name to Sunshine Haven, Inc.. This is a nonprofit hospice home that runs on donations. They took care of our dad during his last days.
