Jose Indalecio Cortinas., 50, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, TX on July 23, 1972. “Born a cowboy and died a cowboy, Born in the U.S.A.â€.
He is preceded in death by his mother MarÃa Santos Cortinas; his brother Epitacio Cortinas; his sister MarÃa Guadalupe Avila.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Tess Sue Cortinas; his son Jose Indalecio Cortinas Jr.; his daughter Amanda Jade Cortinas; his father Baldomero Cortinas; his brothers Baldomero Cortinas Jr. and Hugo Cortinas; his sisters Irene Cortinas and Diana Barrera.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 1PM to 9PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
