James Max Smith, 86, of Brownsville, Texas, entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2023, after a short hospital stay in Brownsville, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother Irene; his father Flynn B; and his sister Glenda.
Max traveled extensively in his younger years, finally settling in South Texas.
Max leaves behind many close friends in the area and across the country
A celebration of life will be held from 6PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 7PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Music by Cellist, Jen Mulhern from 6 PM to 8 PM; Prayer service by Cori Tristian at 7 PM.
