Dolores S. Ortega, 75, of Los Fresnos, Texas, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Belen Sauceda; her sister Rosa Maria Garza.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Abran Ortega; her daughter Nydia Ortega-Carvajal (Omar); granddaughter Magdalena Carvajal; siblings Maria Luisa Vasquez, Sara Martinez, and Agapita Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 3PM to 9PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with interment to follow at 1PM at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. Was very sad to hear from my mom of the passing of Dolores. She was always such a kind and sweet lady. May she rest in peace and may the family have comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering. Prayers to the family during this difficult time.
