Cel and Family, my sincere condolences. You know how close Chickie was to my Mom and Dad and me. Seeing her a week before her passing meant so much to me. I think God meant for me to be in Brownsville at the time.
Chickie was my first dancing teacher. I had to be only 5 or 6 years old. A lifetime of memories. Chickie was a force of nature and had a heart like a lion.
Thinking of you and family, Laura V. Estrada, Dallas, TX
With sincerest sympathy from the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament. We have such fond memories of Chickies and are grateful for her great generosity to the sisters, the Church, and the civic community. May God bless her family and may her soul rest in peace.
