Jaime Hernandez Jr., 48, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2023, at Sunshine Haven surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his brother Angel Hernandez; grandparents Nicolas Jimenez, Maria Acosta Leiba, and David Acosta.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Perla Hernandez; parents Basilia Jimenez and Jaime Hernandez; children Ruby Hernandez, Jaime Angel Hernandez III, and Kevin Hernandez; sisters Jessica Stubblefield and Esmeralda Hernandez Burns.
He loved spending time with family, and he always put everyone else first before himself. He will be missed dearly.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 12PM to 8PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:30AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will follow at 2PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will be at 3PM at Buena Vista Burial Park.
