Perla Caro Robles

Perla Caro Robles, 84, of Brownsville, Texas devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away on August 30, 2020 at Sunshine Haven surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro O. Robles, her parents, Eloisa Cavazos, and Jose Caro.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Pete (Martha) Robles Jr., Estella (Johnny) Pineda, Luis Ricardo (Diana) Robles, Pearl Enos, Irma (John) Leal, Joe (Kristie) Robles; sister Irma (Homer) Balboa, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Perla was a devout catholic. She was an avid reader and inspired her 6 children to read at every opportunity and pursue higher education. She had a love for baseball and was a huge Atlanta Braves fan. She will be sorely missed and remembered dearly.

The family would like to thank Valley Regional Medical Center Staff and Doctors for our Mother’s care. Much thanks and gratitude to Sunshine Haven Inc. for making it possible to accept our mother to their excellent care. A heartwarming thank you to Veronica Lucio, Executive Director, Rosa Garcia, CNA, and its Board of Directors, as well as, Alma Ramirez, Superior Hospice Physician Liaison and nurse Hector Garcia, RN.  

A million thanks to family and friends for all their prayers and support.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 3 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville. (956) 350-8485

    Momma Pearl was a Wonderful person and my friend. She had a smile that would light up the room. RIP with Mr. Robles momma. My condolences to the family.

    I am so sorry for your loss of your mother and father, Estella. May they Rest In Peace. It is hard losing both parents, but just cherish your family memories. May God watch over you and all your family.
