Jose Angel Trevino, 60, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on May 9, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan De Dios Trevino and Lucilla Rincon Trevino; son Jose Angel Trevino Jr., and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Beatriz Vasquez Trevino; children Juan Jose (Danielle) Trevino, Lilia Jean (Carlos) Alvear; siblings Manuela Longoria, Miguel, Roberto Trevino, Raquel, Eliseo Saldana, Maria Sanchez, and Juan De Dios Trevino; mother in law Lilia Rojas Garza; grandchildren Cassandra, Iesha Trevino, Carlos Alvear Jr., Julia Alvear, Gianna Trevino, Tamara Vasquez, and Rudy Medrano. Jose Angel Trevino was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, relative, and friend to all he knew. He worked at the Varmicon/ Alamo Concrete Company for 39 years. Jose enjoyed above all spending time with his family, working on his yard and planting trees and flowers. He was also a devoted servant of his Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of ICC Church were he loved to serve the Lord and his church.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. There will be a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
