Jose L. “Pino†Campos, 90, passed away on May 6, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 6, 1927 in San Benito. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Maria Socorro Gomez; son Guadalupe, and infant daughter Elsa Marie, and his parents Florentino and Emilia Campos and 5 brothers. Left to cherish his memories is his sister Emilia Campos Sanchez; daughter in law Bertha Campos; children Jose (Zeyla), Rick (Sonia), Luis (Celina) Campos, Sylvia (Lyle) Artz, Oralia Campos-Brown, Jane (Terry) Doyle, Irene (Alex) Petruska, Dora (Ben) Yost, Norma (Alan) Cisneros, Lisa (Glen) Villarreal; 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a funeral mass held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with military honors and burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Rick & family, please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. I know too well how hard it is to lose a parent as I lost my mom last July. Prayers to your family during this difficult time.
