Maria Laurentina “Laura” Treviño De Anda 87 years old entered eternal rest on August 27, 2026. She was born on November 14, 1938 and will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother,
mom -in-love, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was rooted in faith, family, and always being there for others.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Cosme and Juanita Treviño her sister Sara G. Treviño and Brother Juan Jose Angel Treviño.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving Daughter Laura Ashley SaBree-Chavez, her son-in-love Ruben Chavez, her granddaughter Lauren Ashley Sabree, Grandson Rick Sabree, Jr. (Jules) her great three great grandchildren. Her brothers Felipe (Estela) Treviño, Francisco (Gonzala) Treviño and sister Flor Leticia Treviño, sister-in-law Elvia Treviño and numerous nieces and nephews, she is also survived by extended family members, and friends.
Faith was at the center of Laura’s life. She was a devoted member of Iglesia de Oracion y Alabanza and Oasis DFW, where she found great joy in being involved with her church and dedicated much of her life to sharing her faith.
Above all else, Laura’s family always came first. She treasured time spent with her loved ones, whether gathered together for family moments, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying each other’s company. She also was known to enjoy one of her favorite treats, a good banana split and Haagen-Dazs ice cream bars.
Laura leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, devotion, and a great servant of God. Though she will be deeply missed, the example she set and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4th, 2026 with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel will open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A chapel service will begin at 1:00 p.m. following an interment at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Garden.

Maria Laurentina “Laura” Treviño De Anda, de 87 años, partió al descanso eterno el 27 de agosto de 2026. Nació el 14 de noviembre de 1938 y será recordada como una amada madre, abuela, suegra, bisabuela, hermana, tía y amiga, cuya vida estuvo arraigada en la fe, la familia y la disposición constante de ayudar a los demás.
A Laura le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Cosme y Juanita Treviño; su hermana, Sara G. Treviño; y su hermano, Juan José Ángel Treviño.
Le sobreviven y honran su memoria su querida hija, Laura Ashley SaBree-Chavez; su yerno, Ruben Chavez; su nieta, Lauren Ashley Sabree; su nieto, Rick Sabree, Jr. (Jules); y sus tres bisnietos. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Felipe (Estela) Treviño, Francisco (Gonzala) Treviño y Flor Leticia Treviño, así como numerosos sobrinos, familiares extendidos y amigos.
La fe fue el eje central de la vida de Laura. Fue miembro devoto de la Iglesia de Oración y Alabanza y de Oasis DFW; allí encontraba gran alegría al participar en las actividades de la iglesia y dedicó gran parte de su vida a compartir su fe.
Ante todo, la familia siempre fue lo primero para Laura. Valoraba profundamente el tiempo compartido con sus seres queridos, ya fuera en reuniones familiares, celebrando ocasiones especiales o simplemente disfrutando de la compañía mutua. También era conocida por disfrutar de algunos de sus caprichos favoritos: un buen *banana split* y las barras de helado Häagen-Dazs.
Laura deja un hermoso legado de fe, amor y devoción, habiendo sido una gran sierva de Dios. Aunque se le extrañará profundamente, el ejemplo que nos dio y el amor que brindó tan generosamente perdurarán en los corazones de todos aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.

La capilla abrirá el sábado 5 de septiembre de 2026 a las 11:00 a. m. en Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
