Aurora Ruby Alvear 25 years of age of Brownsville, Tx beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend, entered into eternal rest March 12, 2026 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Tx on July 31, 2000.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Aurora Salazar, Eduvigez Gonzalez , Olivia Lopez Alvear, Artemio Alvear, and her uncle Julio Alvear.
Left to cherish her memory is her father Ruben Alvear and mother Marisol Guerrero.
Siblings: Jackquelyne and Ruben Jr. She also leaves behind her beloved companion, Bella, who
brought her immeasurable joy and comfort.
Ruby was a graduate of Lopez High School. Ruby lived her short life with a contagious smile and a generous heart, but she left this earth as a true hero. In her final act of grace, she gave the gift of life through organ donation. While our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing that Ruby’s strength and kindness live on in the many people she saved.
In honor of Rubys heroic final gift, the family kindly asks that you consider registering as an organ donor. There is no greater way to celebrate her legacy than by giving the gift of life to another.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 20th, 2026 from 1:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm. Services conclude at the end of the evening.

Aurora Ruby Alvear, de 25 años, de Brownsville, Texas, querida hija, nieta, hermana, sobrina y amiga, falleció el 12 de marzo de 2026 en Valley Regional Medical Center, rodeada de su querida familia. Nació en Brownsville, Texas el 31 de julio de 2000.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos Aurora Salazar, Eduvigez González, Olivia López Alvear y Artemio Alvear, así como su tío Julio Alvear.
Deja para honrar su memoria a su padre, Rubén Alvear, y a su madre, Marisol Guerrero.

Ruby se graduó en la promoción de el instituto Lopez. Ruby vivió su corta vida con una sonrisa contagiosa y un corazón generoso, pero dejó este mundo como una auténtica heroína. En su último acto de generosidad, regaló la vida a través de la donación de órganos. Aunque nuestros corazones están apesadumbrados, encontramos paz al saber que la fuerza y la bondad de Ruby perduran en las muchas personas a las que salvó.
En honor al heroico último regalo de Ruby, la familia le pide amablemente que considere registrarse como donante de órganos. No hay mejor manera de celebrar su legado que regalando la vida a otra persona.
El velatorio está programado para el viernes 20 de marzo de 2026, de 1:00 a 8:00, con un servicio del rosario a las 6:00. Los servicios concluirán al final de la tarde.
