Jesus Hernandez, 60 of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend entered eternal rest on Friday, December 6, 2024 in Gretna, Louisiana. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas Mexico on April 10, 1964.
Jesus was a hard-working man who loved his family deeply. He worked for LNG Gas plant at Port Sulphur, LA. Jesus enjoyed spending time with his family when time permitted. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Jesus Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife Beatriz Adriana Hernandez; his mother Maria Hernandez; his children, Jesus Gerardo Hernandez Jr. (Cindy Hernandez), Beatriz Hernandez (Angel Meza), and Jesus Adrian Hernandez (Maria Hernandez).
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
