Roberto Silva

Roberto Silva

Roberto Silva was born on February 20, 1947, went to his home, in heaven, with Jesus on January 23, 2022, after a short-term illness. He is preceded in death by grandparents Francisca Hill and Pánfilo Natera; parents Juan and Francisca Silva; brothers David and Xavier Silva; and granddaughter. He leaves behind daughters Cindy, Lisa, Sara, Robbie, and Roberto Jr; sisters Olga Rodriguez, Nancy Trevino, Alicia Badeski, Francis Silva, Janie Rodriguez, Angelica Silva; grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
He attended Brownsville High School and worked at a transport company for many years, as a truck driver and, for the City of Brownsville, as a bus driver.  He was known for his ability to play the drums. His talent embarked him to several states as a professional drummer. His passion for being a drummer, preceded his name. Roberto was full of life and found humor in situations. He was loved by his siblings and those who knew him. He will be sadly missed, but not forgotten. Therefore, Roberto leaves these words for all to know.

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.â€
1 John 3:1

“For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.â€
1 John 3:11 KJV
