Isaac Saenz Sr.

Isaac Saenz Sr., 82, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 27, 1939.

He is preceded in death by his parents Saro Saenz and Tomasa Saenz; daughter Norma Lee Saenz-Valdez; siblings Humberto, Lisandro, Jose Maria, Delia, and Noe.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years Albina Saenz; children David Ceballos Jr., Nilda (Rene Munivez) Saenz, Isaac Saenz Jr., Leticia (Enrique Gonzalez) Saenz, Patricia (Tom Dinoia) Saenz; siblings Beatrice (Tony) Molinar, Maria Hortencia (Marty) Frank, Oscar (Irma) Saenz, Homer (Socorro) Saenz, Rolando (Mildred) Saenz, Alma (Lino) Saenz-Medina, Minerva (Oscar†) Saenz Ochoa, and Saro (Estela) Saenz.

Isaac married his beloved Albina on December 28, 1964. He was a member of the Air Force for 4 years. He took much pride in his work ethic and maintained long friendships throughout his life. He also took pride in his love for fishing and maintaining his boat. His most cherished love is for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4 PM to 8 PM with military honors at 5:45 PM and the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brownsville. Services will conclude at the end of the funeral mass.     Isaac will be missed remembering his beautiful smile, humorous, funny & the special person he was. Always at family gatherings he was the life of the party. He left us with good memories. RIP !!
