Juanita Ibarra,93, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on September 16, 1925.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Juventino Ibarra Tejeda; her parents: Florencio Vela and Maria de Jesus Cordova; her sons: Juventino Ibarra Vela and Ramiro Ibarra Vela; her siblings: Antonia Lerma Cordova; Guadalupe Lozano Cordova; Ramon Lerma Cordova; Julietta Vela Cordova and Ramoncita Vela Cordova.
Left to cherish her memory is her children: Francisco (Maria) Ibarra; Gerardo Ibarra; Juana Patricia (Jose Luis)Ibarra; Many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 1:00 – 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
