Maria Josefa de los Reyes, 89, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest July 15, 2018, at her residence surrounded by loving family. She was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on September 13, 1929.
She is preceded in death by her parents Rafael Ramos and Ana MarÃa Hernández; husband Jesus De los Reyes; children Amado and Jose Martin De Los Reyes; brother Ramon Rodriguez. Left to cherish her memory is her children Oralia Ibarra, Gloria, Jesus de los Reyes, Juan De Dios de los Reyes, Oscar Ricardo de los Reyes and Martha Alicia Gonzalez, Blanca Aide Tamez; siblings Isidra and Jesus Rodriguez. Also surviving numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 1:00 — 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
