Troy Jordan was called to the Lord on Sunday November 1, 2026. He passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Harlingen, Tx. to Howard and Frances Jordan on May 20, 1958. He was a graduate of Texas A & M University in Kingsville, Tx. and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He spent his working career at Luby’s cafeteria.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Rosie Jordan and his parents Howard and Frances Jordan.
He is survived by Javier Herrera, son of Lincoln NE, four grandchildren, Peggy Jordan, sister of Lumberton, Tx. He had a very special closeness to his brother and sister in law Ed and Angie Lopez, of Canyon Lake, Tx., Godson Philip Lopez and David Galvan. His fraternity brothers Gary Pyron of Houston, Mark Motherall of McAllen and Scooter McGee.
