Aurora “Borin” Longoria

Aurora “Borin” Longoria

Aurora “Borin” Longoria, 84, entered eternal rest on August 19, 2026. She was born on March 27, 1942, and will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend whose life was rooted in faith, family, and service to others.

Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Castillo and Pilar Castillo, and her sisters, Francisca Lopez and Julie Rodriguez

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Roberto Longoria; her children, Jose Torres (Nancy) and Monica Torres; her grandchildren, Valerie, Erica, Klaryssa, and Viktorya; and her 10 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many friends.

Faith was at the center of Aurora’s life. She was a devoted member of San Pedro Catholic Church, where she served as a Guadalupana and as Director of Religious Education. She found great joy in being involved with her church and dedicated much of her life to sharing her faith and serving her community.

Above all else, Aurora’s family always came first. She treasured time spent with her loved ones, whether gathered together for family moments, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying each other’s company. She also loved to dance and was known to enjoy one of her favorite treats, a good banana split.

Aurora leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, devotion, and service. Though she will be deeply missed, the example she set and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

What a beautiful and kind woman. Growing up she always welcomed us into her home as we hung out with Joey. What great memories that I shall never forget. Rest in peace Mrs Longoria and enjoy the riches of Heaven. God Bless Joey and his family.

    Love, The Burton Family.
