Aaron Alejandro “Alex” Garcia

Aaron Alejandro “Alex” Garcia

03/23/2004 – 05/16/2026

Aaron Alejandro “Alex” Garcia, age 22, entered eternal rest on May 16, 2026. Born on March 23, 2004, Alex lived a life filled with love, compassion, friendship, and an unwavering devotion to his family and community. Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact he made on the lives around him will never be forgotten.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maria Del Rosario Serna; his paternal grandmother, Josefina Betancourt; and his paternal grandfather, Manuel Garcia.

He is survived by his loving parents, Alejandro Garcia and Sandra Garcia, and by his beloved sister, Amanda Garcia, who will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and unconditional love they shared with him.

A proud graduate of Los Fresnos High School, Alex proudly considered himself a Falcon. He later earned his Associate’s Degree from Texas Southmost College, continuing to pursue a future centered around helping others. Alex had a special heart for children, especially those with special needs. Working with them was more than a job — it was his passion. Through his work at Liberty Memorial and Resaca Middle School in Los Fresnos, he touched countless lives and formed meaningful friendships that became like family.

Alex had a deep love for sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed coaching football and baseball and loved playing baseball and softball himself. Whether he was fishing, hunting, on the field, or spending time outdoors, Alex found joy in every moment. Yet above all else, family remained at the center of his life. No matter how busy he was, he always made time for family dinners, gatherings, and the people he loved most.

To many, Alex was more than a friend — he was like a brother. The overwhelming number of lives he touched, including many people his own family had never met, is a testament to the kind of person he was. His kindness, loyalty, and genuine spirit made others feel seen, valued, and loved.

At such a young age, Alex created a legacy that many strive to achieve in a lifetime. While his family and friends will deeply miss him every day, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

His light will never fade, and his legacy will forever remain a part of those who loved him.

We send our deepest condolences. Although we knew him for only some hours, we could tell he had this light and positive energy around him. He was so passionate about his profession and his life calling. We could tell he was well loved by his community and vice versa. The knowledge of his passing deeply saddens us and we send our utmost positive wishes, thoughts, and prayers to his family, friends, and colleagues.
