Andy Lee Portales, 49, passed away on March 24, 2026. Born on August 12 in Brownsville, Texas, Andy was a kind, loving, and patient man who brought warmth and comfort to those around him.

Andy cherished his family above all else. He deeply loved his wife, stepdaughter, nieces, his parents, Maria Hernandez and Andres Portales, his younger sister, Mary Portales Frausto, and his beloved pet, Daisy Love Portales, who brought him constant joy and companionship. Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply being present, he made those he loved feel valued and cared for.

Andy earned a degree in Criminal Justice and was a loyal, dedicated employee for 14 years, demonstrating the same integrity and commitment in his career that he showed in his personal life.

He had a passion for cooking and found joy in sharing meals with others. Andy also loved his car, the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed spending time playing video games, especially alongside his best friend, Rene. These moments reflected his easygoing spirit and the strong bonds he built throughout his life.

Andy will be remembered for his gentle heart, his patience, and the genuine love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends who will miss him deeply.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th, 2026 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
