DOB: November 27, 1941
Josefina was born in Brownsville on November 27, 1941, to Jose Flores and Tiburcia Castro. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister Antonia, and her brothers Juan and Jose Flores Jr. She is survived by her husband Juan Maldonado, her daughters Maria Garza and Sheila Kirkconnell, her son Ramon Cuellar, and her brother Guadalupe Flores (Desiree) as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her entire family was her pride and joy. Josefina attended school in Port Isabel, Tx. and was well travelled having lived in Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma, France and Germany. She was well known for her delicious cooking, especially her tamales. During a period of time, she owned and operated a restaurant in Miami, Oklahoma.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
According to her instructions, Josefina will be cremated.
